Captured Emotions Photography by Tina Roberts
About My Businesse:
Hi! I'm Tina Roberts owner and photographer of Captured Emotions Photography. I live in South Florida, Weston to be exact. I am fun and relaxed. I specialize in Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvah's, family portraits, and headshots for professionals, models/actors. My skills, passion for photography and calming presence result in a natural unobtrusive style that creates a fun and stress free atmosphere. I work closely with my clients to record life's journeys. I find beauty in a simple glance, warm smile, a laugh and even tears. These moments truly capture the emotions and personality of you and your family, hence the name Captured Emotions Photography.
My love for photography began with my journey of planning my own wedding. I fell in love with the art of creating beautiful wedding images and began photographing weddings for friends and family. Just seeing the joy and happiness that I could bring them by simply looking at an image I took was an amazing feeling. Sometimes I don't know what I love more, taking photos or seeing peoples reactions to the photos I've taken! I think it's both. I began constantly educating myself on the art and mechanics of photography. I let my passion take over and decided in 2005 to make a giant leap to leave my career and start up my own business. But in my mind I wasn't the least bit nervous. I truly feel that if you have a love and passion for something then there is no way that you can not be successful. Therefore Captured Emotions was born and I have not looked back. Here I am today, doing what I love, photographing peoples personal moments and documenting their life’s journeys. There is no better honor to be trusted with that!
Obstacles and Challenges:
Starting your own business is never easy. To be a successful photographer, you also have to be a great marketer, accountant, digital editor and keep up with the latest technology of today. Another challenge is that everyone wants instant today, but I pride myself on getting to know the true essence of my clients personality and capturing that in a relaxed atmosphere.
Seeing what other photographers won't, capturing what others can't.
Ever-advancing my skills and perspective, I'm only as good as my last shoot.
As a child, I always had a camera in my hand. One of my favorite memories is blowing on the old polaroid instant camera pictures. Seeing it go from white to color always amazed me. I constantly had a camera in my hand and my sweet parents made MANY trips to develop rolls and rolls of film for me. I loved taking unique pictures, but never quite knew what to do with it other than personal enjoyment.
